It's finally here. Due to popular demand, let us introduce our Blue Scales Racer Cross Swimsuit. Designed to be a comfortable yet supportive swimsuit that does not compromise on aesthetics.

While the front of the swimsuit has a classic round neck swimsuit shape, the back features a cross over design with one solid colour strap and one blue scales strap, like our popular cross back top. The lower half of the swimsuit has a high rise full bikini bottom style as requested by our customers during the design phase.

The blue scales print side of the swimsuit is made from recycled PET plastic bottles that have been shredded into flakes and are then melted, shaped and spun into a polyester yarn. The royal blue reverse side is made from ECONYL® regenerated yarn, a yarn made from fishing nets and scraps of fabric that were destined for landfill. This yarn is then spun into a Nylon fabric. The final result is a sustainable fabric with a soft and luxurious feel.

Stand out from the crowd and grab one of these brand new uniquely printed swimsuits!

Haven’t yet had a chance to try this out in the water but I really like the suit :) the material and design is wonderful and the cut is very flattering. The sizing isn’t 100% true for me, I’m 160cm and my measurements seemed perfect for the size 8 according to the size guide, but it’s a tiny bit roomy in the top (or rather, not as form fitting as in the rest of the body, maybe I'm just not tall enough for it and the straps have extra length for my shape) - I suppose it’s more comfy than being too tight, just hope it’s not too loose once in the water. Other than that I love it! Thanks for making a lovely responsible product :)

Fit and feel of suit

I swim a lot and use a standard lap style suit. I have not tried this suit in the water yet but my initial reaction is that I do not like the fit or feel of the suit. It does not seem to be sized proportionately as the top fits very tight and the lower portion of the suit is loose. It is also a very heavy material so it will be interesting to see how well it feels while swimming.
At this point, I would not buy again but happy to support this company.
